The book includes a preface, 18 chapters, three appendices and a bibliography. As explained more fully in the
Preface, the book addresses 14 subjects, each of which is associated with a chapter that focuses on that
individual subject. These 14 subjects are identified in the beginning of Chapter 1. We plan to allow the free
reading of three of these individual subject chapters at any one time. Our policy is to change the set of these
three subject chapters available for reading once a year (probably each January). Some of the other sections,
primarily the Preface and Chapter 1, will be continuously available for reading as well.
With regard to the available reading selections, we recommend that, before reading an individual subject
chapter, you first read the Preface and then read Chapter 1: "Introductory Discussion" to better understand the
book's philosophy and approach, and especially to better understand these two assertions: (1) you are quite
capable of proving to yourself that the book's assertions are true and (2) the thought process this book
stimulates will likely induce intellectual pleasure.
